Morgan E.Rinner
Morgan received her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law with Highest Honors and graduated summa cum laude from Truman State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Economics.
Morgan has experience in the following:
- Co-counsel on many mergers and acquisitions including eight-figure equity sale, eight-figure asset sale, and multi-million-dollar equity purchase deal from LOI stage through due diligence and closing.
- Structuring business organizations and obtaining tax-exempt status for non-profit foundations.
- Experience advising on Internal Revenue Code compliance and advocating for school districts regarding tax penalties, including successful abatement of penalties.
- Representing business organizations including manufacturing businesses and a local physician group.
- Structuring estate plans and experience with unique considerations for high-net-worth individuals.
- Representing individuals in contested and uncontested probate proceedings.
- Drafting real estate sale and purchase agreements, services agreements, interlocal agreements, construction contracts, lease agreements, and funding agreements.
- Experience advising on sales of surplus property, abatement procedures, condemnation procedures, and public finance obligations and restrictions.
- Defense of large school district against alleged violations of the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act.
- Advising on employee retirement plans and employee benefit programs.
Morgan currently lives in Owasso with her husband, Jacob, and their Australian Cattle Dog, Nautica. In her free time, Morgan enjoys volunteering at her church, visiting family in Missouri, and playing tennis.
