Rhiannon K. Thoreson

Rhiannon was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Oklahoma to attend the University of Tulsa. She later earned her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and her juris doctor, with Highest Honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law.

Rhiannon served four years as a federal law clerk, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, analysis, and judicial decision-making. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, with extensive experience defending tort, employment, constitutional (42 U.S.C. § 1983), and Title IX claims. She represents businesses, individuals, and public entities – including municipalities, public trusts, public school districts, career technology centers, and state institutions – in trial, administrative, and appellate matters. She also regularly advises and represents municipal clients in matters involving governmental liability, public policy compliance, civil rights, and employment law.

Rhiannon brings strategic analysis, meticulous preparation, and thoughtful advocacy to complex, high-stakes disputes.
