Whitney M.Eschenheimer
Whitney Mackey Eschenheimer represents clients in litigation in all types commercial, professional and personal disputes. Ms. Eschenheimer’s practice focuses on business litigation, public entity defense, catastrophic injury, construction, and transportation law. She litigates first and third party insurance claims including casualty losses, construction defects, premises liability and products liability matters. Additionally, she has experience litigating probate, trust, and estate related matters.
Whitney earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Kansas in 1992. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, with distinction, in 1996. As a young lawyer, Whitney worked as in-house counsel for a commercial property and casualty insurer supervising large exposure losses, making coverage evaluations and retaining and vetting and directing outside defense counsel. She instructs clients with claims recognition and risk assessment to avoid litigation. Throughout her career, Whitney has worked with insurance professionals in the areas of good faith claims handling in all types of insurance settings in formal continuing education instruction and for client in-service professional development.
In addition to the local bar associations, Ms. Eschenheimer enjoys memberships in coveted professional associations with referral networks around the country and internationally. She is currently recognized as one of Oklahoma’s Super Lawyers for insurance coverage expertise and has maintained that honor for the past several years. She has earned client relationships that have lasted several decades and formed trusted partnerships.
Whitney is a native Tulsan and a proud graduate of Edison High School. She and her husband, Nick, have raised their two sons in Tulsa. As a couple, they enjoy supporting most philanthropic causes with a 5K walk or run. In her personal time, Whitney volunteers for local philanthropies and cheers for both the Sooners and the Jayhawks.
